MAURO VIGILANTE

My name is Mauro Vigilante, and I am attending the first year of the MSc in Management of Innovation and Technology at “Luigi Bocconi” University. In my opinion, sustainability is the future of our society and firms should be aware of how crucial ESG policies implementation are to improve their economic and social impact. As President, I will guarantee the creation of a collaborative and working environment, in which every student can feel to be part, sharing ideas and the mission of our association.

I am a passionate and motivated economics student.
I chose to study management because I think it can lead me to have a real impact on society. And I believe that this impact today cannot be separated from a focus on ESG issues. That is why I am one of the co-founders of this association.
I have always been interested in the company visit area because for me it is essential to see first-hand concrete examples of what can be done to pursue a more sustainable future. The ambition for this year is to continue on the path laid out last year and have the opportunity to visit companies and appreciate their commitment and dedication to ESG.
JACOPO BUTTAFARRO

Hi! My name is Jacopo Buttafarro and I am attending the third year of the bachelor in economics and social sciences (BESS).
I believe that we need to keep questioning ourselves and constantly think about how we can be doing things better. After all, we are the first generation that will be affected by climate change and the last that can still affect it.
As Vice President of the association I will be overseeing the ESG Analysis division. In this regard, I will guarantee that each member in this division will be focusing on analyzing topics that they deem relevant and interesting. On a more personal note, l aim to disseminate knowledge and raise awareness on the development of ESG practices, strategies and policies.

Hi! My name is Valentina Villa, and I am attending the third year of the bachelor’s in economics and management. I’m proud to be a part of this association since I truly believe that sustainability and ESG should be the groundwork for all our future projects, and I think it is important to start discussing these topics now that we are students.
As the HR manager, I will make sure that Bocconi Students for ESG is a community where every member is an important part of our mission. I will also be supervising the events team, which I think is fundamental to create increase engagement and to create opportunities for all students at Bocconi University to get to know us and share our mission.

I’m truly passionate about the world of graphic design and marketing, especially for the fact that sustainability is becoming a crucial topic in this field.
